The Keystone UAS opened the 2022 campaign at Blairsville Speedway. This week saw 2 new drivers take to the track, Jesse Short hopping into a kart he ran at Hunterstown last season and Andy Lazeration, builder of Magnum Racing Chassis, driving Joel Dell’s Honda powered MRC ride.
Six muscle karts took to the track. Picking up from 2021, Steve Windle Jr claimed heat 1 and went on to take the checkers in the feature - while collecting the Bergfelt Racing Enterprises, LLC and American Muscle Kart $100 pay day. Ernie Confer and Andy Lazeration were in a close battle for the 2nd and 3rd spot until Confer’s throttle stuck causing him to go off in turn 4. Confer was able to re group and hold onto the 3rd spot. Next up is Penns Creek on June 4th. Steve T
