Mother nature cast her spell of wet weather, causing the cancellation of the UAS weekend at Stonybrook. Thanks to all who put together this weekend events and definitely set a great example of Camaraderie in the UAS.
The Naugle's Wild Card race will count as points. There is a drop so drivers who missed that race can use it if they wish. Next race is the John Smith Memorial at Blairsville Speedway on July 25th! This is the Keystone Region's second national 1/4 points race of the season!

Saturday night was a beautiful night to be in the foothills of Pennsylvania, nestled in at Naugle’s Speedway. This race was the Wild Card rainout race built into the schedule, meaning that if there is a rainout, points from the race will count. If not, then hey it was a fun night of racing. Five muscle kart pilots came out to tame “The Bullring”. Racing action was very clean throughout both heats and the feature, only seeing the caution come out when a couple drivers slowed on the track. The night went quickly and when it was all said and done, the 77x of Dan Burket swept the night!
Here are the finishing orders throughout the night: Heat 1 1) 77X Dan Burket 2) 77 Denny Furlow 3) 13 Roy Bacorn 4) 12 Harry McElhaney 5) B-99 Mark Bergfelt Heat 2: 1) 77X Dan Burket 2) 13 Roy Bacorn 3) 12 Harry McElhaney 4) 77 Denny Furlow 5) B-99 Mark Bergfelt Feature: 1) 77X Dan Burket 2) 77 Denny Furlow 3) 13 Roy Bacorn 4) 12 Harry McElhaney 5) B-99 Mark Bergfelt – DNS- Water Leak Harry McElhaney received the Hendrick’s Motorsports sponsored item. All in all a fun night of racing and can’t wait to see everyone again. Next up is a trip to Stonybrook Speedway to join the Empire UAS on June 20th! |
