The Keystone UAS made the trip to "The Bullring" - Naugle Speedway. With the points race a toss up at this late point of the season, every position is valuable.
Denny Furlow was able to hold off a hard charging Paul Deasey Jr to put the Chautauqua Machine Specialties LLC 77F into victory lane. Dan Burket came in third, followed by Brian Hartzell and Scott Deasey. Next stop is the final regular season race of 2018 - the John Smith Memorial national 1/4 points race at Blairsville Speedway.

Mother Nature gave us another clear sky to race under - and some screaming hot temperatures. The Keystone UAS made the trip to Race-1 Motorspeedway for the first national 1/4 points race of the season. Fourteen muscle karts took to the track. Heats were split - here's a look at the results.
Heat 1A; 51A Steve Windle Jr Heat 1B: 707 Paul Deasey Jr Heat 2A: 51A Steve Windle Jr Heat 2B: 919 Brett Mesler For the feature, 12 of the 13 muscle kart drivers took to the track. On the start, Paul Deasy Jr's ride from the outside of the front row, popped the chain at the drop of the green causing the field to stack up behind. Some drivers got in the dust outside of the groove putting up a huge cloud and bringing visibility to nil. KUAS points leader Dan Burket, Bob Windle, and Hillary Truitt were caught up in the incident ending their day. All were OK (minus some bruised and being sore) after the incident. The race ran clear the rest of the way with Steve Windle Jr crossing the line first for the checkered flag. Here's the finishing order:
Thank you to all the drivers that rolled out early to make it to Race-1 for the afternoon show on such a hot day. Everyone kept their cool and put on a great show for the full fences. Next trip is "The Bullring" - Naugle Speedway in Aliquippa, PA July 28th. Steve T The Keystone All-Stars rolled into Red Rock Raceways after a weather driven hiatus for the 3rd points race of the season. Brandon Oldham won the UAS race and also picked up the win in the PA Mini Outlaw.
Finishing Order:
