The KUAS rolled into Flat Run Speedway for the second 1/4pt race of the season. Half a dozen karts were able to make it up to Allport on a day that had rain keeping folks from traveling.
Once that feature got rolling, it looked like Branon Oldham was going to pick up from his Outlaw Sprint race the week before and get the win. It was a solid battle between him, Joel Dell and Steve Windle Jr trying to grab that point spot. Oldham ended up dropping back as his axle shifted, however it looked like Dell was going to pick up his first UAS win. They raced tight and clean and when the checkered flag was waving, Steve Windle Jr was able to hold on for the win. Finish Order:

The Keystone UAS traveled out to Penns Creek Raceway Park for the next stop in the 2021 campaign. The field of 5 started the night, with some drivers unable to make this weekend's trip. When the feature came around, a hard charging Ernie Confer -who was looking for his first KUAS win- had the rear gear hub blow apart as he was closing in on the leader, Steve Windle Jr. Windle was able to hold on and finish the race with another season win.
Feature Results:
With the win, Steve Windle Jr moves to a tie in overall points with Josh Bergfelt on top of the leader board. Based on overall wins, Windle has the advantage going into the final 2 season races. Next race is August 28, 2021 at Flat Run Speedway for the 2nd National 1/4 point race of the season. Steve T |
