Well, it looks like Mother Nature is waging her own little contest with the Keystone UAS. The second event of the season, May 19th at Pittsfield Championship Karting Association was a was with heavy storms that rolled through the area. Race 3 slated for June 23rd at Deerfield Speedway was called when a week of rains hit the area and a 90% forecast of storms through the weekend. So what does this mean? As per the KUAS meeting at the bench racing awards gathering before the season, both rain outs will count as the 2 drops in the season. All races not cancelled - (Flatrun and any we get in the rest of the year) will count towards KUAS rankings. The bonus points for participating in all KUAS events during the season is still in effect.
Maybe in a couple of weeks at Red Rock we will get one in! Thanks all for the patients - some things in this world there is no control... Steve T
